How it all began
Humble beginnings in Ireland
I first started dabbling with Jewellery making while I lived in Galway, Ireland for a year during my OE and was making Jewellery & selling it at a local craft market, using glass beads crimped onto tiger tail.
My main occupation whilst over in the UK was care work, and it was during my employ with Monson family that my interest was fully piqued with the healing powers of crystals.
I was looking after Tisha who had had a cancerous lump removed from her breast. When I went into a local crystal shop, I asked the shop assistant if there was a crystal that would help with tissue regeneration after a cancer operation, and she pointed me in the right direction. Once I had picked the crystal, she wrote out the information that she had found to go with it.
Tisha was open to different types of alternative healing, so I knew she was open to crystals, but her reaction to the gift just blew me away! She was so touched by the gesture, not only by the crystal, but also the information provided with it and she wore the crystal as close to her wound as possible. When she had healed I wrapped the crystal onto a silver neck wire using craft wire - the result was a very attractive meaningful piece of Jewellery! And she wore it every day.
After returning from my OE (which lasted about 8 years) I began to do some research into the healing properties of crystals and came up with the concept of 'Purposeful Jewellery' after cross-referencing my work and seeing the scope for the different ailments and afflictions.
After seeing the impact of receiving information with such gifts, I decided that I wanted my 'Purposeful Jewellery' to come with an informational booklet that covered information pertaining to the individual crystals in the Jewellery, but also information on how to cleanse, charge & program the crystals. People can take as much or as little of that information on board as they like.
The Power of Attraction!
I had a Jewellery Party where the host was drawn to the 'Attracting Love' Necklace and when she put the necklace on she got huge goose bumps! I initially thought it was an unusual necklace to be drawn to as Karyn was happily married with a child. She contacted me a few weeks later and disclosed that she had to take the necklace off, as it was too effective! She then told me that she was thrilled to have become pregnant again after coming off the pill 7 weeks previously, and as it had taken over a year for her to conceive the last time, she assumed it would take just as long this time too. She swears the necklace is responsible and
won't wear the necklace again until she's sure she's not having twins!
